In March, the team relocated to a bigger space to accommodate new staff and future growth
Paul Binsfeld started Company Nurse, LLC nearly 19 years ago in a small office in the Scottsdale Airpark corporate village, next to a local bakery shop. Now – standing in the entryway of the new, 11,000 square-foot office space – he says he, “can still remember the smell of fresh baked bread that came wafting through the door in the morning, when we first started.”
The memory is bittersweet, as the team has now completed its seventh move in the history of the company, to a new and improved space in The Village at Hayden business and retail center. Just minutes from the 101 highway and in the epicenter of Scottsdale, Company Nurse’s new headquarters are only 25 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, and an easy freeway drive to Tempe, Downtown Phoenix, and other major hubs in the Valley. The office build-out has been underway for almost a year, taking special care to think of all details – both big and small.
The previous office was home to Company Nurse for more than five years. Once the staff began to outgrow the space, Binsfeld and his fellow executives brainstormed potential new locations as well as features that would increase efficiencies, support future growth, and serve as added perks for employees. Much to their surprise and delight, they found the perfect spot just a short walk across the parking lot from their (then) current space.
Soon after, the dotted line was signed and plans began to be drawn. Among the notable features of the new office are additional technology spaces to support the brand’s growth and investment in IT infrastructure, a larger conference room, and a bigger break room complete with an outdoor balcony-patio. Team members can also take advantage of exercise equipment and secure lockers for storing personal items, offering a new place for staff to fit in a workout before or after work hours, at no cost to them.
